overall of 8-shot journey

During the 8-shot journey project, i learnt alot of things as i had never really used a video camera to capture a planned movie.
over all, it all went very smothly. i had no technical problems and the i only had to re-take one shot which was one of the 1st ones i did.
However i did realise that you should check to see if the battery is fully charged!
My project turned out exactly the way i hoped it would, and the effect of the black and white with a tint of colour adds such a good atmosphere that matches the mood of the journey incredibly well.
The stars of my shots were Joshua Parker and Luciana Mcclean, they were both fantastic and did exactly what i was hoping for. This was only picked on the day as i had organized for two friends to come in from out of college to star in it for me, but there were problems with communications, so josh and lucy agreed to step in for them both.
i kept to the 180 degree rule by always making sure that josh was walking in and exiting from the same side, and the same with luciana, i tried to keep the camera height at eye level so that it feels more comfortable to watch for the audience.
I kept to my story board incredibly well out of memory as i forgot it on the day. however, i did change one shot, but not dramatically, shot 6 and 7 merged into one, so i had to split up shot 8 in to two during editing, but everything was still exactly as it said on the storyboard.

In my honest opinion, i do not think i could have done much better on the project as i put alot of effort into it as i wanted to get the most out of it because the film industry is where i want to be for my career
